This book is essentially a real UI/UX starter kit. I found what I really liked was that it wasn't just about the concept of design, it was also about how to implement it — layout, spacing, hierarchy, visual choices and a proper understanding of the user and how to design something better. It gave me insight into not only into what to design but why certain design decisions work. One aspect that's great is that it's illustrated with pictures and examples throughout the book, so the concepts are easier to remember and understand. The book will be of particular benefit for newcomers into the UI/UX field as it links theory to practical design thinking. As a whole, it's a pretty handy resource for anyone beginning their journey into UI/UX and seeking to establish solid groundwork.
